BTS: Unravel Co + Nina Ho

Does anyone else like peeking behind the scenes and seeing how content comes together? Okay, cool. Us too and you're in luck. We met up with photographer, Nina Ho, and Unravel Co owner, Sanetra Longno, as they worked on a product shoot. And might I add, these ladies are some pros. I blinked and they were almost done! Below, learn a little more about both ladies, Unravel Co and how they landed on the shoot location.

A long time visual communicator, Nina about a year ago picked up a camera and hasn't looked back. When asked how she got started in photography, Nina shared that it was while leading collective blue. She became inspired by the unique perspectives of diverse creators and photographers her collective collaborated with. Below, all photos listed under "Final Shot(s)" were shot by Nina.

Unravel Co is Sanetra's brainchild, a sustainable brand created to serve, help others and develop fruitful relationships through designs and collaboration. The company partners with a Ghanaian collective that's "creating profitable business opportunities for basket weavers via international market access."See the Unravel Co shop here.

When honing in on locations for the shoot, Nina created a short list of locations in the Spot Loc8r app. While shooting I overheard Nina mentioning she knew the type of backgrounds that Sanetra was looking for. I followed up on this later and  asked Nina about Unravel Co's aesthetic. Her response: "Sanetra and I are good friends, and we've collaborated on a lot of photography projects. That made understanding her aesthetic – preference for minimalism, natural lighting and textures, etc. – really intuitive for me." The location they selected hit those preferences on the nose. Don't you agree?
